Welcome to CoWriter IO! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CoWriter IO application ("App") and services provided by CoWriter, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Services
CoWriter IO provides a platform for songwriting and cowriting in real-time, along with a feature called Writer Card for listing details of a writer's performance royalties organization (P.R.O.).
3. Subscription Plans and Fees
We offer the following subscription plans:
Monthly Subscription: $4.99 per month
Quarterly Subscription: $13.99 per quarter
Annual Subscription: $49.99 per year
If you choose not to subscribe, the App will display ads. Subscribers will enjoy an ad-free experience.
4. Changes to Subscription
If you decide to unsubscribe, ads will be reinstated in the App. Your access to the features of the App will otherwise remain unchanged.
5. Payment and Renewal
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription and billing through your account settings in the App Store.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
7. Account Deletion
If you decide to delete your account, most of your data will be removed from our systems. However, data shared through a song experience will remain to maintain the song's integrity. If you are attached to a song as a writer, your name and your contribution to the song may remain visible. To delete your account, you must do so within the app experience.
8. User Conduct
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
Use the App in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the App.
Impersonate or attempt to impersonate CoWriter, LLC, a CoWriter, LLC employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
9. Data Collection and Privacy
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We collect information you provide, information collected automatically, and information from third-party services to improve our services.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by CoWriter, LLC, and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will CoWriter, LLC, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
